About Us

North Wales Superkids was founded in 1999 by Margaret Williams, who had spent 13 years as a social worker. During that time, Margaret had gone above and beyond for the families she worked with, including helping to ensure that they would be able to provide Christmas gifts for their Children, and organised Christmas parties for them to enjoy.
Following her retirement, Margaret wanted to ensure that the families she had supported through her job, would still be able to receive the help they so desperately needed, so with a group of likeminded Friends & Foster carers, Superkids was formed.

The charity has now been supporting underprivileged Children for 25 years, and over those years it has gone from strength to strength, thanks to the dedication of Margaret and many many volunteers along the way.

Sadly, after an incredibly long battle with her health,  Margaret passed away in October 2023. The amount of lives that the work of Superkids has impacted is totally unimaginable, and the remaining Trustees are dedicated to ensuring that the work of Superkids continues to Support those who need us.
